Keeping Memory

Dulu masa remaja, aku ada obsesi merakam video anak anak buah, terutama Arissa dan Alaina. Banyak betul video mereka, terlalu banyak, semuanya tersimpan elok dalam laptop lama di rumah Mama tu. Satu hari, laptop itu rosak, dan satu satunya cara untuk 'menyelamatkan' laptop itu adalah dengan format semula. 

I was devastated, habis hilang semua video yang dirakam, baru plan nak tunjukkan video budak dua orang berlari lari pakai diaper dengan celak tebal di mata pada hari perkahwinan mereka nanti T___T

I don't want the same thing to happen to my children. We have gazillions videos of these two, and I'm currently in the middle of uploading it to my Youtube channel for my own safekeeping, untuk kenangan di hari tua.

Terlalu banyak lagi yang belum di-upload. Satu hari aku cuba upload dalam 3-4 videos. I showed to my children recently and we have a good laugh watching these videos. But sometimes the videos make me sad too, especially when I was just having a bad day with them, Ammar Yusuf to be exact. He used to be a very happy boy, watching those videos makes me questioning what have I done wrong...

This is my way of keeping my memory. I've read somewhere about another good idea; once your kid was born, create an email for him/her and everyday you send something to that email, be it what happens today, your kid's milestone, your happiness and sorrow, and you attached with photos and videos of your child everyday. It was like a diary, you're like telling your child stories of his/her life. When your child turns 18, give him/her the email's password. That idea is good, only that email has limitation up to 20MB per email. Satu gambar dari smartphone camera je dah 4-5MB, video apatah lagi. 

I still think that it is such a brilliant idea, maybe I should try, for my third baby :p
